zfm update (aug 2025)

looking forward

As we look forward to the coming months of 2025, we currently have 3 big ministry trips on the calendar (along with all of the smaller trips closer to home) and would ask if you would join us in prayer. At the end of August we will be traveling to Florida to do ministry for several weeks. In October we will be traveling to Washington DC to be a part of Communion America where they will have 50 large tents each representing one of the states, and for 3 days will have 24/7 worship. We will be leading worship in the tent representing Iowa and possibly leading worship in one of the regional tents. And then in December we will be traveling down to Texas. 3 big trips in the second half of 2025, and I felt God say to me that we are coming into another “faith season” with these trips and our vehicle. Our Ford Expedition has almost 260,000 miles on it and all the traveling we’ve done with this vehicle while pulling our large trailer is starting to take its toll. We just had a breakdown on the interstate this past weekend coming home from an event out of town. Thankfully an amazing friend and supporter spent over a day getting our vehicle back up and running. In the natural, it probably looks foolish to try to make these long trips pulling our trailer with our current vehicle, but... we serve a supernatural God! As soon as all 3 of these trips were planned, I felt like God was asking us, “do you still trust Me to take care of you and provide?” I believe we are to take these trips, stepping out in faith, knowing we have Jehovah Jireh on our side. So, if you would join with us in prayer and agree with us, asking and believing that God will provide every step of the way, we would truly be grateful! Matthew 18:19 TPT - Again, I give you an eternal truth: If two of you agree to ask God for something in a symphony of prayer, my heavenly Father will do it for you.

looking back

As we look back on the first 7 months of 2025, what an amazing 7 months it has been! When we started this family ministry almost 4 years ago, one of the things our kids were praying for was to be able to minister to their peers. It has been on their hearts (and ours) for a long time and WOW have we seen the answer to those prayers this year! In February we led worship for the kids portion of the World Mandate conference at Waypoint Church in Omaha NE, in March for the Youth Called Conference in Lexington NE, in July for the World Changers Conference in Omaha NE which had over 700 youth from all over the world, and this summer we led worship at 5 different youth camps! And not only were our kids able to lead worship for their peers, but they also spent a lot of time connecting and ministering to these students on an individual level. As a parent, it is so incredible to see your kids encourage and come along side and minister to their peers.

One thing leading worship at youth camps this summer has made abundantly clear to Maria and I, is that we are definitely feeling our age! All those weeks of camp staying up way too late, having to be up early and trying to keep with teens during the day is exhausting!

Gods call to "go"

Kaili, Noah and Toby have also been busy outside of our family ministry ministering on their own. They are always being asked to help out on other worship teams around the metro area, and Kaili and Toby were involved with a live album recording for Lifegate Youth which they really enjoyed!

We still believe that God has a plan for us to minister overseas. It is a little overwhelming to think about all the logistics if we bring any of our instruments or gear, but we also know we serve a big God who is perfect at putting those kinds of things together. So, until He opens that door, we all have our passports ready and are just waiting expectantly. Noah was able to take a solo mission trip in June to El Salvador with the high school seniors from Lifegate Church, loving on and ministering to kids in orphanages and schools. It was a huge highlight for Noah this year as he has a huge heart and passion for the little ones. Everywhere we go, Noah always has a whole posse of kids surrounding him. Kaili will also be going to El Salvador this fall with the young adults group from Lifegate.

From leading worship at many different conferences, filling in at a different church almost every Sunday morning, playing in retirement homes, having intimate house worship sessions in our home, and from leading worship in the middle of a field in Kansas with Joshua Aaron to a large stage opening for Rend Collective, 2025 has been filled with so many sweet intimate moments in the presence of our God, joining in triumphant praise with people from all over the world, and seeing the Holy Spirit move in the hearts and lives of countless people and we are just humbled that God would let us be a part of what He is doing.

THANK YOU!

We want to express our sincere appreciation for your prayers on our behalf - for encouraging us and sowing into this ministry. We are so thankful for your support! We really couldn’t do it without your generosity & kindness! It means more than you will ever know! Our whole journey has been based on faith - stepping out in faith whenever and wherever God calls and leads, trusting that He will provide for our every need, every step of the way. As we continue the mandate God has placed in our hearts, it may not make sense on paper or in the natural, but we serve a supernatural God who is not bound by time and space and we know that as we continue to live by faith and follow wherever He leads, that He will continue to provide in ways that are only of Him and He will get all the glory!

Our desire is to continue to say yes and go where God leads. This is where the body of Christ comes together, each playing a unique part to further the Kingdom of God. We know God provides and we have experienced His grace and outpouring so many times! Often, He provides the way through His people. We are seeking financial partners to help us continue fulfilling the mission we are committed to. We know God has great plans to come and we would love to partner together and to expand His Kingdom and bring glory to our God.

As we continue to follow God's call in 2025, we would like to ask if you would prayerfully consider giving a one-time gift or setup a recurring donation. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, so all donations are tax deductible. You can give online at https://www.zellmerministry.com or on Venmo or PayPal @zellmerministry.

We truly believe this is God’s ministry, not ours. It is His work and we just get to be a part of what He is already doing. It’s been a journey of faith, provision and miracles and we can’t wait to see Him do more! We continue to pray Ephesians 3:20 over our family and this ministry - that God would do exceedingly and abundantly above all we can ask, think or imagine.

Thank you to everyone for all your support and prayers! The best is yet to come!
